Kirsten Moore-Towers representing Team Winter Club!

Kirsten Moore-Towers and Dylan Moscovitch
Kirsten has been skating since the age of 3. She skated at the Winter Club full time until she was 13 years old. She transferred to the Burlington skating centre for 2 years.
Highlights from her singles career:
- 2008 6th place at the Canadian Championships in Junior Women
- 2007 Gold medalist at the 2007 Canada Games in Whitehorse, Yukon Novice
Women
- 2007 5th place at the Junior Canadian Championships in Novice Women
- 2006 Bronze medalist at the Junior Canadian Championships in Pre-Novice
Women
- 2005 Trillium cup Champion Juvenile Women
In January 2008 Kirsten decided to give pair skating a try and decided that she loved it so much that she gave up singles skating to dedicate all of her energy to pairs. She moved to Kitchener-Waterloo Skating Club to train under two-time Olympians Kris Wirtz and Kristy Sargeant-Wirtz.
In her first year as a pair skater she placed 4th at the Canadian Championships with partner Andrew Evans. In January 2009 she split with Andrew and had a try out with Dylan Moscovitch who had previously skated for 6 years with his sister Kyra Moscovitch. Their skating partnership began on February 15, 2009.
Kirsten is proud to represent the Winter Club of St. Catharines and the Niagara Region. Kirsten is in grade 12 and attends Bluevale Collegiate Institute in Waterloo in a modified program to accommodate her training schedule.
